JOHN BARNARDFounder/Executive Director/Mentor
A new world opened for John on Christmas morning in 1984, when he received his first skateboard. Three years later, he discovered his entire identity, purpose and community in skateboarding.
Several years later, Barnard and his friends were welcomed at Park Place Baptist Church in southeast Houston. Much of what John does today is a direct reflection of the people of margin who loved Jesus and poured into him as a teenager. |

LAWTON OUTLAWCommunications & Creative Director/Prayer Team Leader/MM Skateboards Mentor
This Native Houstonian is one of our most gifted team members. When he’s not guiding major corporations to discover their optimal branding, Lawton can be found investing in the lives of skaters, growing a regional ministry team, and carving the concrete walls at Jamail Skate Park downtown. Since he’s a prayer warrior, it only makes sense that Lawton would also head up the Prayer Team and encourage ministries nationwide. Lawton Outlaw is the absolute OG mentor and he just makes everything better.

We met “Seb” while he was enrolled in Antioch Baptist’s missions training in Waco. He is a gifted skater who loves giving decks and shoes away to others while sharing his faith. Sebastian is currently pursuing a graphic arts degree in Oklahoma when he’s not telling skaters about Jesus at the skate park.
