We have found that programming SKATE CAMPS, whether held in city-maintained public skate parks parking lots with our modular skate park set-up in place, is one of the best ways to support and provide outreach to young skaters and their families. Not only are we able to spend time instructing and encouraging skaters (and their parents), we're also able to empower local skateboarders who may have never been given the opportunity to experience investing in someone else. Couple all of that with opportunity for a ministry to have presence at the park for 4 or 5 consecutive days and it's clear to see why we are so excited to offer this type of event to groups wanting to reach out to kids, teenagers, and their families.
